A Garden of Seasonal Journeys
Size: 3000 sqm | Location: South Norfolk
This garden is designed to enrich everyday living through a sequence of connected outdoor spaces, each offering a different way to pause, gather and enjoy the landscape.
From the existing terrace, a path leads past a raised pond into a pergola walkway, where layered planting softens the structure and an avenue of cherry trees provides privacy, spring blossom and a changing seasonal backdrop. This route opens to a secluded seating area, offering a quiet space to step away and unwind.
The journey continues into a more naturalistic woodland edge, where long grasses, trees and log piles create a rich, textured setting that supports wildlife and brings a stronger connection to nature. A productive potager sits along the return route, making home-grown produce an easy part of daily life.
Back near the house, a jacuzzi area is enveloped in romantic, naturalistic planting, creating a private space for rest and restoration. Throughout, the planting brings softness, movement and seasonal change, shaping a garden that supports both quiet moments and everyday enjoyment outdoors.
